I worked at home today, but I did go out for lunch, so I had to get dressed, haha. I picked up this sweatshirt at Target a while ago. Not my usual style, but I liked the color and thought it was kind of unique. It is super soft and so warm! Even though it was a few degrees below freezing, I just wore a scarf and gloves out and was fine without a coat!
Shirt - Merona Tank - Modbe Jeans - Old Navy Shoes - Clarks Privo
Today was my last day in the office until January, so I figured I could get away with wearing jeans. Most people had the same idea. These shoes are adorable, but I rarely have an opportunity to wear them, so I was happy to have a chance to show them off at work, too.
Sweater - New York & Company Camisole - Old Navy Jeans - Old Navy Shoes - Xhileration
Who says there's no such thing as a free lunch? Today the cafeteria at work provided a free holiday meal to everyone. I forgot until I got to work, so I packed a lunch anyway, which I will just have to save for a couple days.
Sweater - H&M Camisole - Old Navy Slacks - New York & Company Shoes - What's What Earrings - gift
I love these earrings, they're just tiny silver circles, but they always make my ears itchy by the end of the day. Sigh.
OMG, Ready..Set..BAM gave me an award! Thank you!! Here are the rules, which I will not be following completely:
Thank the person who nominated me for this award.
Copy the award & place it on my blog.
Link to the person who nominated me for this award.
Tell us 7 interesting things about yourself.
Nominate 7 bloggers.
Post links to the 7 blogs I nominate.
This isn't my "real" blog so I don't write too much about myself here, but here's seven interesting things about me:
I can whistle really well.
I love cheese. Love it.
I love cats and currently have three (they occasionally appear in my photos here).
It's taken me a really long time to come up with these interesting facts.
I generally get one haircut a year and then let it grow out until the next year. (Last year I bucked the trend by getting a trim a few months after the big cut.)
I knit hats and sell them, but I do not wear hats myself.
I am really bad at writing about myself, especially when it has to be a certain number of facts.
Now for the part of the rules I won't be following - I won't be selecting seven other bloggers. Sorry, I'm a dead-end :o( But if you read this and feel inclined to share seven things about yourself, feel free!
Boring outfit to start a boring work week... Sigh.
Sweater - Old Navy Tank - Merona Slacks - New York & Company Shoes - Chinese Laundry
The tank I'm wearing under my sweater I got last year from Target (along with a black one), and I've only worn it a couple times since then, but I think it might be the first Merona thing I'm really unhappy with. It's really long, which I don't mind because I like to tuck it into my pants when I wear it under something, but it's almost dress-length. And it's thick, so it's kind of bulky tucked in. And the neck's all stretched out somehow. Oh well, it's not like I don't have a wide variety of tanks and camisoles to choose from...
Sweater - Bass Camisole - Old Navy Slacks - New York & Company Shoes - Hot Kiss
I painted my nails gold for this week!
Note to people coming here from the NY&Co Facebook page: Did they really have to choose this picture? I wear their pants literally every day, they couldn't have picked one where I look a little better?
I rarely wear this pink t-shirt because you can see through it a little bit. But I figured I could get away with it since it would be mostly covered by my sweater today. And that sweater is so warm (a good thing!) that you need to wear something light under it anyway.
