Humidity + hair at an annoying length = curling and other weird behavior before I even leave the house. If it were a little longer I wouldn't mind if the ends curl, but when it's just hitting my shoulders, I think it doesn't look so hot. What do you think?

I like this skirt. It's just a simple A-line, teal, elastic-waist thing I picked up at H&M without even trying it on, but it's so comfy and it's a little bit heavier weight than just a single-layer knit, so it keeps a nice shape.

I got compliments on my sandals at work today. I think I've now trained myself not to blurt out that things are from Target. I just said "thank you" and smiled. (They are really very nice looking in person, not to mention comfortable.)

A cool outfit for a hot and humid Friday. Of course, my office is always freezing - somehow I forget this when I'm getting dressed in my 90-degrees and humid, non-air conditioned house.

I had the day off work, so I met up with a friend (and her baby) for lunch, and later we took him to a nearby farm to eat ice cream and see the animals. At three months old, he couldn't really appreciate either, but at least we had fun!

I went out for lunch today, and the warmth of going outside must have stuck with me all afternoon - I didn't touch my sweater for most of the day. A shame, I think I looked more pulled-together with it on.

I got these capris in the spring and they were a little tight. Guess what - they fit perfectly now! I wore this outfit to go out to lunch and do some errands during the day, and later we went to see a concert in the park and have a picnic dinner.

You know me and sweaters - I always bring one with me. And yet I forgot to bring one to the park! It was getting chilly out there after the sun set! If we go to another concert, I'll be sure to bring a sweater (or a blanket).

I only worked a half-day today, and will work from home tomorrow, so it was like an early Friday for me in the office.
