Every day this week, the idea for the next day's outfit has just come to me the previous day, and then I lay out my clothes the night before, which has saved a lot of time in the mornings. Maybe I can keep that momentum going, it'd be nice to not stand around in front of the closet in the mornings wondering what to wear that day.

Depressing thought of the day - after today, I am only at the mid-point of my class! It was freezing in the room yesterday, so I wore a warmer sweater today - of course today the room was much warmer and by the afternoon the sweater came off.

Still haven't decided what color this shirt is, so I'm going with gray again. However, when I hung it up in the dim light at home, it really did look very blue.
Today was day one of my four-day class. So I was just sitting in a room with nine other students and our instructor all day. We were supposed to have a team dinner afterward but half the people who were invited were either sick or had to get home to their sick kids, so we canceled.

My husband and I met up with our good friends for dinner. They live in another state, but happened to be here shopping at Ikea. Glad I could see my pregnant friend one more time before she has her baby!

I have mentioned in the comments here before - these are not skinny jeans! They are regular straight-leg jeans (I have another pair that fits great), they just seem to be cut extra tight. I still think they look good!
We went out to dinner and then to see a comedy show. Does this outfit look familiar? Yes, I wore the same thing, different shoes, at the beginning of the week. I admit it, I am an outfit recycler. Whatever, everything had a week to air out in between.

I was so excited for the spring-like weather today, I had to wear pink! The funny thing is, my new cube neighbor wore a pink cardigan in almost the same shade - we've been sitting next to each other only a couple weeks and we're already dressing alike!

I was shocked at how many people in my office were wearing full-on green regalia for St. Patrick's Day today! I have never seen this many people being festive at work. I, of course, wore the bare minimum of green necessary to avoid getting pinched.

Today was the debut of two new items from New York & Company at work. I actually went to the store to buy some pants, which were on sale, and ended up getting two of these tops because they were buy one, get one half off. You know I'm a sucker for form-fitting tops with interesting necklines.

I actually preferred my after work outfit to the daytime one, so it gets a big picture too! I just changed my pants and sweater to go out for dinner.

I did something today I have never done before: wore jeans to work on a non-jeans day. We occasionally are allowed to wear bluejeans on a Friday if we donate to whatever charity, but today was not one of those days. But hardly anyone was in the office, my jeans were dark, and I was going out to dinner with some girlfriends after work and didn't want to change. No problems!

I wore a black camisole under this top, which you can't see at all, but the top is just a little sheer, and even though it's not like you can see through it or like I'm falling out of it, I feel a little less exposed with the tank underneath.
I was planning to reveal the winning sweater today, but at the last minute decided to switch outfits (three times). I was working at a "help desk" table today at my office and the ruffled sweater outfit ended up looking less professional than I'd planned, the shirt I picked to wear with it looked weird, it was just bad. I'll try again next week.

A busy day, despite having nothing on my calendar - I hardly left my desk all day!

And now it's time to play: Guess Which Sweater I Bought!
Sweater A, on the left, is a little lighter in color and heavier in weight. The ruffle is larger. The sleeves are a little short.
Sweater B, on the right, is a darker, heathered gray. The knit is a bit softer. The decoration is less "hello, here is a ruffle," and more "oh this squiggle of fabric? I just slapped that on." The shoulders have a slight poof.
So, which one did I end up buying? Leave your answers in the comments. Hint: the one I bought ended up having a higher original price tag and a lower price at Ross. And I am happy with my selection and plan to wear it on Thursday! If you guess correctly, you will win... a feeling of satisfaction!
I picked up this flyaway cardigan thing at Ross over the weekend. It just looked so comfy, and it has pockets! Okay, so it's not super flattering (despite Natalie's reassurances) - but after my last two crazy weeks, I just wanted to be relaxed!

After work I changed into jeans and different shoes, and went out to dinner with my husband :o)
The last day of two extremely busy work weeks. Luckily, I was just busy behind the scenes today, and could dress more comfortably. (Some of my coworkers actually wore jeans, so I was the overdressed one in the group!)

Another busy day of facilitating training sessions at work! However, I was in a much less public role today, so I figured I could forgo the jacket and just wear this collared sweater. (Yes, it is all one piece, I'm not wearing a sweater over a shirt.)

Extremely busy day at work today - I am facilitating a couple courses at our huge on-site learning event. We were told to wear suits, and unfortunately I do not have a suit, but I do this this adorable jacket that looked perfect with these black pants and I was dressed perfectly appropriately.

I actually ended up chatting online with a coworker last night to help put together this outfit! I think it was a good collaborative effort - I think it looked professional but still a little fun and trendy (with the 3/4 sleeves and ruffled top).
