Good thing I looked a little more pulled-together today - we had a power outage and then a fire at work! This of course meant that I was outside with several buildings' worth of people for a bit while the smoke cleared, so far more people saw me than usual! Luckily, it was nice out - certainly a good day for a fire alarm!
It was so cold in my office! This sweater is really warm, and I was still freezing. Seems like it's always either freezing or stuffy in there - I wish they could regulate things better.
I don't wear stuff with hoods to work. In fact, I think I've only done it once or twice - I have this white fuzzy hooded sweater that's really cute in the winter. But it was Friday and I was by myself in the office for most of the day, so I went for it.
Happy Earth Day! 
No, I didn't intentionally wear brown in honor of the earth, but it sort of worked out that way. My office was kind of undecided when it came to temperature today - usually it's just freezing in there, but today it was also sometimes warm and humid. So I was occasionally sweater-less during the day.
This was the first time in a long time that I wore this necklace, because I recently found it in a box. I got so many compliments on it! Would you believe that I bought it ten or more years ago at Target?!
I thought this sweater was cute in the store, but when I put it on for work my husband gave me the side-eye. Is it crazy looking? He also said the blue with it was too bright..?! That bright turquoise blue is "my" color!
You know, it's hard to keep coming up with things to say about my outfit every day! This is a new shirt :o)
I don't have much to say about this one, except that it was very warm in the afternoon and I did a lot of running around after work, so that sweater came right off.
So many of us were wearing purple and black at work today! Either in patterns, or purple tops with black pants and sweaters, like I and several others wore. Weird how that often seems to happen...
There was supposed to be a bigwig at work today, and I felt a little under dressed in my very basic outfit. But then we found out that the visit was canceled, so I didn't feel so bad about it after all.
Really bad picture, but... I had to show off my new Skechers Shape-Ups! They're really not that crazy looking, and they didn't hurt my legs or ankles at all; despite the instruction that came with them to only wear them for 25-45 minutes at first, I wore them all day. A friend of mine has a pair that she just wears out and about, not specifically while exercising, and she said she noticed a difference in the way her jeans fit, so I figured it wouldn't hurt to give them a try!
After several unseasonably hot days, it finally cooled off - a lot! I didn't wear a jacket to work, and I was cold walking in and out. Luckily, I stayed inside all day.
Today was probably the last warm day we'll have for a while - thank goodness, it's only April, I'm not ready for all this heat!
Another sunny, warm day put me in the mood for more bright color! I had actually packed this shirt for my overnight trip last weekend, but ended up not wearing it. So since it was out anyway, I decided to wear it rather than put it back in the closet.
I usually crop photos more than this, but I needed to include my little orange cat - he looks so interested in what I'm doing!
I got a lot of mileage out of this sleeveless blue shirt recently! I wore it to a party on Saturday night, Easter dinner on Sunday night, and to work on Monday! (Don't worry, I only wore it for a couple hours on Saturday and Sunday - it was definitely clean enough to wear again.)
Remember when I went to that wedding a few weeks ago and I got a couple dress options from Target? I also picked up this cute polka dot jersey number that was a little too casual for the wedding, but I knew I'd have an opportunity to wear it sometime. So I decided to wear it for brunch on Easter, with a pink sweater to brighten it up.
I did not like this outfit at all. It was a beautiful spring day so I wanted to wear something bright and short-sleeved, but I also needed a sweater to cover up in my cold office, and I really wanted to wear these gray suede shoes. The resulting outfit looks weirdly thrown together. Oh well.
