A rare weekend post from me! I took my grandmother out for lunch and shopping today. It was super hot out! But cold in the restaurant, so luckily I brought a sweater along.

We had this breakfast event with some senior leaders at work today, but actually it just entailed grabbing some food and then sitting at a table for an hour, rather than really mixing and mingling. Good, I hate mingling.

Figuring I'd be too warm to wear my sweater most of the day, I decided to also wear a colored necklace. Two different colors in one outfit?! This is new to me, haha! I ended up being chilly enough to wear the sweater all day in the office anyway.

Here is another of the shirts I got this weekend. This one is my favorite! I would have bought it in every color, but they only had stripes and weird colors. The one other color I would have bought (black), they didn't have in my size. This is very distressing to a "multiple buyer."

Yesterday I didn't even wear my sweater all day. So today I didn't even bother. Anyway, I was only in the office for the morning, then I left for an appointment and worked from home the rest of the day. And half our department is out of town this week. So it was ok to be casual :o)

I went shopping this weekend for more sleeveless tops that I could wear with sweaters for work in the summer. This one was questionable, but I can't turn down a gray shirt, so I got it. It's fine with a sweater over it, but it has these weird puffy not-quite-sleeves that are not really flattering.

It was a super busy day at work. And because of the mid-week holiday, a lot of people were out of the office. So I barely saw anyone all day.
