It snowed today. When I left for work, it was just raining, so I didn't wear the boots I'd been considering. When I left at lunchtime, I had to clear at least 3-4" of snow off my car! I wouldn't have even gone to the office except we had a visitor, so my whole department was there and we were all mad we'd driven in!

Today was the first day of my big 2-day meeting at work. I realized that I don't really have any winter clothes that I would consider wearing to something like this! So, I wore what I would consider more of a spring/fall outfit.

Every time I think of adding this sweater to the "donate" pile, something happens that makes me reconsider. Today, the guy who sits in the office near my commented that this color looks good on me. I've never heard him compliment anyone's clothes ever, so I assume he was being honest. What do you think?

Happy Election Day! I worked all day, then went to the polls with my husband when we got home. There was a long wait, but not horrible, so I think we made the right decision.

I am so happy with this outfit. I love the color of the sweater, and the shirt seems kind of retro to me. Good thing I wasn't dressed any worse, the head of our department happened to be in town and I kept running into her all morning!
