All I knew was that I wanted to wear these silver shoes today. And that after yesterday's big heavy sweater, I wanted to dress in layers.
A big warm sweater was a bad choice today. It was nice when I left this morning and it was cold, but by the afternoon I was hot in my office. Then I stopped at Target on my way home and was sweating up a storm by the time I was done walking through there. I am enjoying the mild weather we're having right now, but it's really cutting into my sweater wearing time!
I thought I would curl my hair today before running out for some quick errands. Also, I'm supposed to be going to a birthday party tonight, so hopefully by the time that rolls around, my hair will have relaxed into nice waves.

I've been pretty casual lately and haven't worn one of these shirts, so here you go. I've also realized that despite having like 10 million 3/4 sleeve cardigans, I only have about 4 long-sleeved ones.

Today was the debut of this cute polka dot shirt. You may have noticed I'm not really a "pattern" person, but this was cute, and black and white, so I figured I'd give it a try. It's hard to dress around polka dots, though! Just me?
I had a big video conference at work today, but actually it turned out that I couldn't be seen that much on screen, so, oh well. One of my co-workers asked why I was in black and white on the video. I was not, I was in color, but I was wearing dark clothes and sitting in front of a black curtain, and I am so pale, that I guess it looked like black and white on screen!
Yes, I wore these cute purple shoes again. They are just so comfy! This was another of those outfits that went through like three iterations before I was able to leave the house - and then when we went out tonight I got changed completely anyway (except for the earrings, I kept those on).
Needed something that could go from work to dinner out, since I wouldn't have much time to change in between. So I just swapped out my work pants for jeans when I got home and we were off.
I sort of forgot it was Halloween until later in the morning, so I did not dress in a very Halloween-y manner. Don't worry, I changed into a black sweater, jeggings, and boots when it was time to give out candy.
Today was a full workday with almost nobody else in the office, followed by our quarterly Girls Night Out! Also, it suddenly turned freezing cold, so it was corduroy pants again, as well as my warmer winter coat for the first time this season!

Last week one of my coworkers wore probably this same pair of cords, which reminded me that I should wear mine. Since it's been so chilly lately, it was the perfect excuse to wear soft, warm pants and a cozy sweater. (I don't completely understand why, but this sweater is so much softer and warmer than my other cardigans.)
Four consecutive days in the office, can you believe it?! Today was our last day with our new contractor in the office, so I wore a fun sweater in case we took some group photos or anything. We didn't.
This is the debut of the other item I got with my Lands' End Canvas LivingSocial deal. In this case, I ordered the shirt in my regular size, medium, and... I kind of wish I'd gotten a small. It fits well, it's just a little looser than I usually wear. But I guess that's the LEC fit.
