I worked at home today, but I did go out for lunch, so I had to get dressed, haha. I picked up this sweatshirt at Target a while ago. Not my usual style, but I liked the color and thought it was kind of unique. It is super soft and so warm! Even though it was a few degrees below freezing, I just wore a scarf and gloves out and was fine without a coat!

Today was my last day in the office until January, so I figured I could get away with wearing jeans. Most people had the same idea. These shoes are adorable, but I rarely have an opportunity to wear them, so I was happy to have a chance to show them off at work, too.

After being snowed in for two days, I was excited to get out on the thawing streets and go to the mall. I did a little bit of Christmas shopping, but mostly it was just nice to get out of the house!

I've been really happy with my hair lately. It's about time for my annual hair chopping, but I feel like putting it off or getting a less dramatic haircut to enjoy the length some more.

It was freezing today! I actually changed my mind about my shoes at the last minute, so ended up not wearing socks, but at least I had a super warm sweater.

Who says there's no such thing as a free lunch? Today the cafeteria at work provided a free holiday meal to everyone. I forgot until I got to work, so I packed a lunch anyway, which I will just have to save for a couple days.

I love these earrings, they're just tiny silver circles, but they always make my ears itchy by the end of the day. Sigh.

1. I can whistle really well.

5. I generally get one haircut a year and then let it grow out until the next year. (Last year I bucked the trend by getting a trim a few months after the big cut.)


6. I knit hats and sell them, but I do not wear hats myself.

Boring outfit to start a boring work week... Sigh.

The tank I'm wearing under my sweater I got last year from Target (along with a black one), and I've only worn it a couple times since then, but I think it might be the first Merona thing I'm really unhappy with. It's really long, which I don't mind because I like to tuck it into my pants when I wear it under something, but it's almost dress-length. And it's thick, so it's kind of bulky tucked in. And the neck's all stretched out somehow. Oh well, it's not like I don't have a wide variety of tanks and camisoles to choose from...

I rarely wear this pink t-shirt because you can see through it a little bit. But I figured I could get away with it since it would be mostly covered by my sweater today. And that sweater is so warm (a good thing!) that you need to wear something light under it anyway.
