I got this shirt the last time I was at Target, thinking it was one of my favorite Merona double-layer tees, in a fun new color. Turns out, it's just a regular single-layer shirt, but I really like the color, neckline, and fit, so it stays!
I got this gray peplum cardigan at New York & Company last week when I was out shopping with my husband. He very patiently waits for me to browse stores, try things on, and debate what to buy - and I definitely trust his opinion! Anyway, it was on sale when I bought it but now it's 50% off if you'd like one of your own. Very soft and light, perfect for summer.
I'm wearing tiny crystal earrings, too, but you can barely see them and I don't remember where I got them, so they're not on the list...
Today started out rainy, but after several extremely hot days, that cooled things down a bit and by lunchtime it was gorgeous out. In fact, I actually had to wear this sweater in the office because I was chilly! (Yes, it's a new one. I was eying it every time I went to Target because I love the color.)
Despite the high humidity, I had a pretty awesome hair day today.
I picked the wrong day this week to curl my hair. Or maybe the wrong week. It was crazy humid, and pretty much as soon as I stepped out of the house it went "ptttth." I think it kind of normalized later on, though. By the time I got home, it didn't look horrible.
I think I look less crazy in this other picture, but it's horribly blurry. Boo.
Confession: I wore this exact same outfit yesterday, for the last day of my work meetings. 
But, we finished up early and I got changed, and I didn't see any of the same people today, so I figured I could get one more day out of this. Especially since I didn't get a picture yesterday morning and I liked the outfit.
Today was the first day of our two-day "team building" meeting at work. After our full day of meetings, we were going to have dinner and do an activity at Dave & Buster's, so everyone got changed in between. I was planning to wear jeans and this same top, but ended up changing into a t-shirt, too. (Good thing - our activity was very active!)
I love this sweater. I have three of these in different colors, which I bought probably 4-5 years ago. However, I just snipped the tags off this gray one this morning!
I gave the curler another try today, this time using a higher heat setting and more, smaller sections of hair, clipping the rest out of the way. It didn't take that much longer, and I like the results much better. My husband said it looked "more dynamic," haha!
I wanted to wear a skirt today, but changed my mind about the short-sleeved sweater (Mossimo, btw) because I figured I'd be way too cold in my office. I was right - with bare legs, long sleeves were definitely needed. But I think my hair looks better in the short-sleeve picture, so it stays :o)
Yesterday a coworker and I went across the street to the new Charming Charlie store across the street, and I picked up this cute bracelet that does not photograph well. It's like a rubbery strap (that's why I like it - metal ones always irritate me) with turquoise sequins/rhinestones, and a little heart clasp - the heart actually flips up and down to latch the bracelet shut. I paired it with black and gray today at work, but wore it out later with denim capris.
Weather today was nice... I went out with a friend at lunchtime, it was pleasantly warm and not too humid.
Today my husband and I went to a folk festival. The weather was perfect (warm, sunny, and not humid), so I wanted to wear something that would be comfortable for lots of walking around and lots of eating!
I don't know why I bother dressing decently on Fridays, there are an average of 0.2 other people in my office on any given week.
I prefer the larger picture, but you can see my sandals in this one, sooo...
Second try at the sweater! This time I wore it over a sleeveless top and kept it on all day - and got compliments!
Today was my first day back to the office after a four-day weekend. The facilities people apparently did not get that memo, as it felt for most of the day like they'd forgotten to turn the air conditioning back on. So I did not wear this fun new sweater all day. Maybe I'll try again on Thursday.
Day one of my four-day weekend! I spent the morning running errands, then went to a friend's house in the afternoon to help her pack, as she is moving in a couple weeks. We got her whole kitchen done, plus I got to hang out with her kids and we had pizza for dinner :o)
I love the neckline of this shirt! Ok, it's more than the neckline, it's really the whole front of the shirt. Love it!
