Today's outfit was chosen by Natalie! She posted on Twitter last night that she'd already picked out her clothes for the week, so I asked her to do mine too - and she did! I have outfits lined up through Thursday.

This got us started thinking, it might be fun to do some sort of weekly blogger "dress each other" thing. Once a week, everyone would put their names in, get matched up with someone else, and choose one outfit for their partner, using what you've seen on their blog. I like the idea of someone putting together combinations I wouldn't have thought of. Who's in?! We could call it something like "Remix Mondays"...

I got this purple nail polish over the weekend. I was kind of unsure about the color and thought it might be too bold and crazy, but wanted to give it a try anyway. I love it! It's so rich and jewel-like - this photo doesn't do it justice.

I cant' believe we've gotten almost to the end of July and I haven't worn this shirt yet (or its pink and brown striped cousin). When I first got this top, I wore it all the time.

I'm covering it with my arm, but there is a tie on the right side of the waistband, just in a knot, with strips that hang down about 6 or 8 inches. Must have been the combination of my arm covering it and the slight angle I'm turned that prevents you from seeing it. Maybe it'll make it into the shot the next time I wear it.

Here is the last of the tops I got at Ross over Memorial Day weekend. I really like this one! So light and comfortable, and I think the neckline is very flattering. I like the colors, too. My husband said it was "high contrast."

I was planning on waiting until later in the week, but I ended up taking this morning to pack up my entire desk for my impending move. This probably wasn't the best outfit to do that in, but I was able to deal with it.

Remember when I went to that wedding a few weeks ago and I got a couple dress options from Target? I also picked up this cute polka dot jersey number that was a little too casual for the wedding, but I knew I'd have an opportunity to wear it sometime. So I decided to wear it for brunch on Easter, with a pink sweater to brighten it up.

I'm very happy with the dress - usually I have problems with dresses that have defined waistbands or, you know, "chest triangles," but this one fit great!

I almost forgot about these little short-sleeved sweaters! I got two (this one and a gray one) last summer. I usually don't wear short-sleeved sweaters because I like being able to put something long-sleeved on top (my office is cold!), but it was so hot out that I just went for it! And I was fine all day at work.

I think this was the first time I wore this black skirt to work. I like it and it's comfortable, but I think it hits me at a weird place, a little below my knees. Of course, this isn't really the best angle for me, either.

It was a Friday and I didn't have to go anywhere or see anyone, but I just got these sandals and wanted to wear them with a skirt. I usually wear a black or gray top with this skirt (I'm unimaginative), so I decided to liven things up a little with turquoise.

The shoes have little heels! Rare for me, but they're pretty comfortable.
