I got this scarf over the weekend. I really want to wear scarves more. This was actually in Old Navy's new spring line, it comes in a lot of different colors, but of course I went with black and gray :o) It's actually a nice light jersey, I am a fan.

Had a weird wardrobe issue this morning because the tank I was planning to wear under this sweater left too much chest exposed, and the scarf looked strange on top of it. Finally, Modbe's modesty is good for something!

Monday was a holiday, Tuesday I stayed home due to the snow (our office opened late anyway), and Wednesday was my normal day to work from home, so today was my first day in the office this week! Good thing I wore this warm sweater, there was a breeze by my desk!

We went to a Christmas party hosted by friends tonight. I was worried that I was going to get chilly with just 3/4 sleeves and a pretty thin t-shirt and sweater, so I ended up also wearing my black scarf all night - which actually looked good, and did keep me comfortably warm.

I should have worn a big old sweater today, because it went from being tolerable out yesterday to bitterly cold today. Luckily I wasn't outside too much, but I did leave the office early to go out for a farewell/celebratory lunch with my group.

Did you notice I wore blue tops and brown bottoms all week? I was going to wear a blue top today, too, but decided to mix it up a bit and wear this pink instead. I think it looks good with the brown.

Also, I was reminded today why I don't wear long necklaces. This is the one I usually wear doubled up. Just thought I'd mix it up a bit for Friday.

It's a two outfit day!
Almost everyone was either on vacation or working from home, so it was just me and one other person at work for most of the day. Which would have been fine, until the moving and construction began (a lot of people on our floor were moving desks this week). So we ended up skipping out a bit early... Shh!

As I was getting dressed this morning, my husband asked if there were snowflakes on my sweater. I told him I thought they were flowers, and then he suggested they were dandelion fluff.

I worked at home today, but I did go out for lunch, so I had to get dressed, haha. I picked up this sweatshirt at Target a while ago. Not my usual style, but I liked the color and thought it was kind of unique. It is super soft and so warm! Even though it was a few degrees below freezing, I just wore a scarf and gloves out and was fine without a coat!

Lots of brown... with a little bit of purple in the shoes! This is the first appearance of these brown corduroy pants, they're great, and it's nice to wear something a little different and casual to work.

I packed up several bags of clothes to donate last night, and I didn't have room to stand anywhere to get a full picture down to my shoes! So you'll have to take my word on those. I had the day off work, so I met up with a friend (and her baby) for lunch, and later we took him to a nearby farm to eat ice cream and see the animals. At three months old, he couldn't really appreciate either, but at least we had fun!
