A big warm sweater was a bad choice today. It was nice when I left this morning and it was cold, but by the afternoon I was hot in my office. Then I stopped at Target on my way home and was sweating up a storm by the time I was done walking through there. I am enjoying the mild weather we're having right now, but it's really cutting into my sweater wearing time!

Last week one of my coworkers wore probably this same pair of cords, which reminded me that I should wear mine. Since it's been so chilly lately, it was the perfect excuse to wear soft, warm pants and a cozy sweater. (I don't completely understand why, but this sweater is so much softer and warmer than my other cardigans.)

Hot hot day. I worked from home, but did have to go out for some mid-day errands and evening band practice. I was worried I'd be chilly out in the evening without a sweater, but we were so hot while rehearsing, I was fine!

And now it's time to play: Guess Which Sweater I Bought!

Sweater A, on the left, is a little lighter in color and heavier in weight. The ruffle is larger. The sleeves are a little short.

Sweater B, on the right, is a darker, heathered gray. The knit is a bit softer. The decoration is less "hello, here is a ruffle," and more "oh this squiggle of fabric? I just slapped that on." The shoulders have a slight poof.



So, which one did I end up buying? Leave your answers in the comments. Hint: the one I bought ended up having a higher original price tag and a lower price at Ross. And I am happy with my selection and plan to wear it on Thursday! If you guess correctly, you will win... a feeling of satisfaction!
