01.28.11

I decided on Wednesday that I would take today off work - no reason other than that I have some vacation time I have to use up, and the next couple months are going to be busy at work. I ended up going out to lunch and then just doing some chores I'd been putting off at home.

Left to its own devices, my hair is wavy, but I have to "do" it in order to be presentable. It's a lot more effort than just wearing it straight!

And, in case you were wondering what kind of cat situation is going on behind me, here you go.

08.14.10

Today we took a train into the city to go to a fun indoor/outdoor activity to celebrate my husband's birthday. I hurt my foot yesterday and we were doing a lot of walking today, so sneakers were a must. And the weather was cool enough to wear jeans, hooray!

I'd wanted this purse for a while, but my husband convinced me it was too big. However, when I saw a friend had it in green, and I couldn't find any other suitable platinum-colored purse I liked, I went back and got it. It's perfect, I love it!

02.27.10

Hey, so where have I been? Well, I was snowed in for a bunch of days the past couple weeks, and on the days that I did get out of the house, I just wore boring sweaters and stuff, so didn't bother with taking a picture. Sorry if you missed me!

A couple friends came out to visit me for a day of shopping. Since it wasn't bone-chillingly cold, and we were just running in and out of stores, I wore a big sweater so I didn't have to mess with a coat.

I had a lot of errands to run around and do, and I didn't feel like messing with a coat. So a long-sleeved shirt under a hooded sweater was perfect.

Last year I painted my nails black for the first time since college. I'm trying it again for this fall, but I don't know, maybe it's a bit harsh..?

Sorry I look so sad. I was actually happy and excited, I was on my way to a restaurant festival with some friends!

This isn't actually what I ended up wearing today. I was going to an outdoor festival and didn't want to be too cold or too hot, so at the last minute I changed from this jacket into a hoodie. Good thing, because it was so warm that I didn't wear anything over my t-shirt anyway, and it was easier to tie the hoodie around my waist than it would have been to carry this jacket around.

Quick Pic

I wasn't going to take a picture today, but at the last minute snapped one as I was on my way out of the house. You may remember my complaint about Old Navy t-shirts. This is one of those shirts, but I wore a camisole underneath. Boo, Old Navy, I shouldn't have to layer t-shirts!

On the Go

This was my day to work from home, but I did have some places to go (met a friend for lunch, and went to band practice in the evening), so I couldn't just stay in my pajamas all day.

Why do I have so much clothing from Modbe, if I am neither modest nor Mormon? I don't know, but this is my favorite hoodie ever (and everyone else who sees it wants one too). Love that it zips from the top down and the bottom up, and the thumb holes in the sleeves are great.

Sorry for the creepy looking eyes, it was a bad attempt at red-eye removal. But how about a pat on the back for a cropped photo taken in a clean room?!
