I've found myself sticking more to the blacks and grays lately. So I decided to try to wear browns and tans one day a week. (Did you notice it last week, too?) Yes, I'm really branching out here!

My office has been freezing cold, so I decided this would be the week of sweaters. I love this one, it's so soft!
Awesome news! I was chosen to get a Make the Most of Your Closet Style Consultation from Fab Finds Under $50! I had to take pictures of some of my clothes the night before, so I decided to wear some of those pieces I already had out for work the next day.
Not much to say, except that I have a love-hate relationship with this top. I just wish it weren't so long - if I pull it down straight, it comes down really low, and if I hike up some of the length, then it's all weird and bunchy.
Humidity + hair at an annoying length = curling and other weird behavior before I even leave the house. If it were a little longer I wouldn't mind if the ends curl, but when it's just hitting my shoulders, I think it doesn't look so hot. What do you think?
I've had this shirt for years. It was one of the first things I bought when I got my "real" job after college. (Yes, I was a Merona fan even then!)
I wasn't able to get a picture of this outfit until I got home from work. You can tell because the ends of my hair get all curly and flippy during the day.
I decided I hadn't been wearing enough brown lately, and made a conscious decision to wear more.
Also, this is one of those nice new Merona t-shirts I got a couple weeks ago - they're like the Old Navy ones used to be, but better! (Longer sleeves, higher neck, good length, thicker fabric...)
I wear a lot of brown. I used to wear a lot of black, but I think lately brown has won out. I guess it's true, brown is the new black. Also, this shirt makes me nervous because you can pretty much see through it. But I guess it's okay with a sweater on top...
