Since it was another quiet Friday at work, I wore jeans to the office. Also, I was going out after work with some friends :o) I hate tucking stuff in, but this top is so long, I really have to.

While out for our girls' night, I picked up a new pair of sunglasses. I now have three pairs that I really like. I can't decide which look better on me, though. I prefer the smaller ones, but lately I've been wearing the bigger glasses in an attempt to better protect the skin around my eyes. What do you think?

You may notice I'm in a different room today. That is because we had a little cat-astrophe this morning (don't ask) that led to me stripping the sheets off the bed and my husband going back to sleep for a bit in the room where I usually do my pictures.

It was disgustingly humid today. Even my office felt gross. What you don't see here is that I ended up wearing my hair in a cute ponytail all day (low and to the side, so it fell forward over my shoulder).

It's gotten quite a bit chillier this week, so I thought I'd get one more use out of this long-sleeved sweater thing. It's very lightweight, but I did end up pushing the sleeves up by the end of the day.

Here's the second watch I got at New York & Company. It's just a plain, stretchy-band watch, but I really like it. (Even though I have tiny wrists, my current stretchy-band watch is so tight! And the metal makes my skin itch. This one doesn't!)

Wow, is that date really right? The hot, humid weather today made it feel more like it was June or July! I didn't even wear this sweater after lunch, I was so warm in the office. (Also, grossness alert - it was so humid in the building that there was condensation on the plumbing in the bathroom!)

For a second time, I "illegally" wore blue jeans to work on a Friday. Last week there were literally zero people besides me in my office on Friday, so I figured it wouldn't be a problem. Well, I ended up having a meeting and the head of our whole department was in town. But nobody noticed/cared. I could get used to this...

My husband and I met up with our good friends for dinner. They live in another state, but happened to be here shopping at Ikea. Glad I could see my pregnant friend one more time before she has her baby!

I have mentioned in the comments here before - these are not skinny jeans! They are regular straight-leg jeans (I have another pair that fits great), they just seem to be cut extra tight. I still think they look good!

Today was the debut of two new items from New York & Company at work. I actually went to the store to buy some pants, which were on sale, and ended up getting two of these tops because they were buy one, get one half off. You know I'm a sucker for form-fitting tops with interesting necklines.
