Happy Election Day! I worked all day, then went to the polls with my husband when we got home. There was a long wait, but not horrible, so I think we made the right decision.

Last week one of my coworkers wore probably this same pair of cords, which reminded me that I should wear mine. Since it's been so chilly lately, it was the perfect excuse to wear soft, warm pants and a cozy sweater. (I don't completely understand why, but this sweater is so much softer and warmer than my other cardigans.)

Confession: I wore this exact same outfit yesterday, for the last day of my work meetings. But, we finished up early and I got changed, and I didn't see any of the same people today, so I figured I could get one more day out of this. Especially since I didn't get a picture yesterday morning and I liked the outfit.

I'd wanted a tan cardigan for a while (yes, I have that cable-knit one, but I wanted a plain one), and I found this one last month on crazy sale at the Limited. Love it!

I did end up going to the Limited on Saturday and taking advantage of their 40% off sale by getting two pairs of pants. These black ones looked awesome in the dressing room, but when I got dressed this morning... I just wasn't feeling it, and ended up changing. I will try again soon, maybe with some different underwear..?

I also got a grayish tan pair of these pants, which I didn't try on, because they're the same style and size. Big mistake. They fit totally different! Might actually have to return those :o(

I was browsing through this site last night, looking for things I hadn't worn in a while, or wore too much, or maybe shouldn't wear again, and I saw this sweater. Oh yeah, it is soft and very warm! I don't think I've ever worn it buttoned up like this before. And I probably won't again, because it turns out sort of blobby.

Oh I thought last week was cold? Today's freezing temps and biting winds put that weather to shame. Didn't have to go anyplace at work today, just had a bunch of teleconferences and needed to finish up packing for my move.

I need more pants like these - they are soft, stretchy, and generally flattering. In the side view you can see they have a little stitching detail down the outside of each leg. I will have to be on the lookout...

Is it possible my feet grew over the summer? These shoes were almost too big on me last fall, today my toes were at the tips of the shoes and I got a blister on the back of one of my heels. That's the second pair of shoes now that fit fine last year and is too small this year. Hmm..!

I had forgotten I have these pants. I never shop at The Limited, but I got these on super sale, and they are extremely comfortable - very soft and stretchy, and they have a neat stitching detail on the outside seams.
