I should have known that on the Friday before a holiday weekend, nobody would show up to attend any meetings in person.
Oh look, I wore those new shoes again! I was planning to wear a necklace, but nothing was falling in the right place compared to the neckline of this shirt, so I ended up wearing earrings. I try to avoid wearing them when I know I'm going to be on the phone all day, but, oh well...
Took a few tries to get a good picture this morning - I have a bad cold (didn't even go to the office yesterday) and in every shot I looked like I was about to die :o( (Good news: I'm feeling better already, I think I'll beat this thing!)

I haven't worn this top in a while. I keep thinking of it, but then I choose something else. So here we go. Very busy day full of meetings today, but guess what - they were all teleconferences! (Well, one was in person, but it was just with my cube neighbor, I would have seen her anyway.)
Every day this week, the idea for the next day's outfit has just come to me the previous day, and then I lay out my clothes the night before, which has saved a lot of time in the mornings. Maybe I can keep that momentum going, it'd be nice to not stand around in front of the closet in the mornings wondering what to wear that day.
I was so excited for the spring-like weather today, I had to wear pink! The funny thing is, my new cube neighbor wore a pink cardigan in almost the same shade - we've been sitting next to each other only a couple weeks and we're already dressing alike!
I did something today I have never done before: wore jeans to work on a non-jeans day. We occasionally are allowed to wear bluejeans on a Friday if we donate to whatever charity, but today was not one of those days. But hardly anyone was in the office, my jeans were dark, and I was going out to dinner with some girlfriends after work and didn't want to change. No problems!
I was planning to reveal the winning sweater today, but at the last minute decided to switch outfits (three times). I was working at a "help desk" table today at my office and the ruffled sweater outfit ended up looking less professional than I'd planned, the shirt I picked to wear with it looked weird, it was just bad. I'll try again next week.
Another busy day of facilitating training sessions at work! However, I was in a much less public role today, so I figured I could forgo the jacket and just wear this collared sweater. (Yes, it is all one piece, I'm not wearing a sweater over a shirt.)
Extremely busy day at work today - I am facilitating a couple courses at our huge on-site learning event. We were told to wear suits, and unfortunately I do not have a suit, but I do this this adorable jacket that looked perfect with these black pants and I was dressed perfectly appropriately.
I had a telepresence meeting at work today. Very neat! It's sort of like a life-sized videoconference - people in another room (another state, even) look like they're sitting right across the table from you. So I wanted to wear something that had at least a little interest on top, since I was "sitting across the table" from a room full of coworkers I don't see very often.
I discovered a hole in the sleeve of this sweater today. Not like a tear just... a gap in the cable knit pattern? Boo.
I got this shirt (...and a teal one...) with the intention of wearing it with a different sweater, but then that sweater didn't work out and I had to return it, so... ta-da! I liked this outfit! Too bad I'm stuck off in an annex at work and nobody even gets to see me and my new shirt...
I went to a kind of informal, daytime wedding today, and I was stressing about what to wear. The bride and groom were older, and I was actually going with my grandmother and didn't really know anyone there, and it was a chilly October day. So I figured slacks would be okay, and I was going to try to find a new top or cardigan to wear with them, but then I remembered I had this one that I hadn't worn yet. I got lots of compliments on it!
Not pictured: the sweater I was bundled in all day because my office is freezing cold!
We had visitors from out of town and all-day meetings today, followed by a group dinner, so I needed an outfit that would be comfortable and put-together. I decided to wear my magical brown pants that make my legs look long and slim.
This was my only day in the office this week, so I wanted to look decent - even though with the holiday weekend coming up, there were even fewer people in the office than there usually are on Fridays.
