My office has been freezing cold, so I decided this would be the week of sweaters. I love this one, it's so soft!
I hated this outfit. I just threw something together that included purple because I wanted to wear these shoes again. But I feel like the shapes of the pieces I wore just didn't work together.
I wore those new little flats from Payless to work again today, and I got so many compliments on them! Everyone from my good friends to random people on the elevator told me how cute they were!
I was very excited to wear my other new pair of shoes today! I thought they might be uncomfortable, but they're actually really comfy. I think because the opening is cut a little lower, they don't hit me right at the ball of my foot like a lot of shoes do. Oh, and I got compliments on them, too!
I just got this sweater yesterday (Bass is having a Buy 1, Get 2 Free sale!). It is so soft and snuggly and warm! My office has been freezing this fall, and I had to go to a big meeting in a room that was even colder, so it's a good thing I wore this!
I had a lot of errands to run around and do, and I didn't feel like messing with a coat. So a long-sleeved shirt under a hooded sweater was perfect.

I was at a charity event for the day that involved walking around to different shops in a town and eating chocolate at every stop (nearly thirty!). We were walking, indoors, outdoors, in the wind, in the sun... so this sweater was the perfect thing to wear!

On Saturday I donated six big bags of clothes to Goodwill. To celebrate, I bought one new sweater. I've been looking for a tan sweater for a while, and it was on sale! I was so excited to wear it to work, I was almost disappointed to have had Monday off.
Remember how I was looking forward to the cooler weather? I got my wish - it is cold all of a sudden. But that means it's the perfect weather to wear these quilted suede shoes. They are so comfy, it feels like I'm wearing slippers!
I packed up several bags of clothes to donate last night, and I didn't have room to stand anywhere to get a full picture down to my shoes! So you'll have to take my word on those. Also, what's that line on my shirt? Was it there all day, or did it just show up when the camera flashed? I hope it was the latter...
Awesome news! I was chosen to get a Make the Most of Your Closet Style Consultation from Fab Finds Under $50! I had to take pictures of some of my clothes the night before, so I decided to wear some of those pieces I already had out for work the next day.
A rainy morning running errands, followed by an afternoon napping at home, and then an evening out at the mall.
I got new camisoles recently (they were on sale this week), so of course I had to wear something that needed a camisole under it.
It suddenly got really, really hot again. Like, really hot, and humid. Stupid weather, I want it to be fall!
Oh Monday. That's all I have to say about that.
Sorry I look so sad. I was actually happy and excited, I was on my way to a restaurant festival with some friends!
This isn't actually what I ended up wearing today. I was going to an outdoor festival and didn't want to be too cold or too hot, so at the last minute I changed from this jacket into a hoodie. Good thing, because it was so warm that I didn't wear anything over my t-shirt anyway, and it was easier to tie the hoodie around my waist than it would have been to carry this jacket around.
I tried this shirt on at the store but wasn't sure about the puffy sleeves. After thinking it over for a week, I went back and bought it! This was also the first purple item I added to my wardrobe in recent history, and it opened the door to all the other purple clothes I've gotten in the past year.
Lots of brown being worn this week. What's up with that?
Busy busy Monday! After tomorrow my crazy time at work will be over, and I'll be able to get back to my regular work that's been put on hold for the past week.
It was a truly chilly day - I thought I wouldn't really need the sweater, but I ended up wearing it all day. So happy for the cooler weather!
Yay fall! 
My favorite season did not disappoint, and I was excited to wear all my autumnal colors. I thought it might be chilly enough to need a sweater, and I almost did need it at work, but then I took a walk and got warmed up and never had to put it on.
I didn't really celebrate Labor Day... but I did go out to the supermarket.
I still feel like I'm catching up with my life after going on vacation for 9 out of the past 21 days. It's the Saturday of a holiday weekend, and I've been busy running around.
I did not feel like going to work today. And I certainly didn't feel like putting any effort into getting dressed. Hopefully the necklace dressed things up enough - I feel like I haven't worn any jewelry in a long time. Still working my way back up to earrings.
The beginning of my favorite month, back to work after a three-day weekend, and the weather was beautiful!
After a hot, humid weekend, it's suddenly chilly this week - fall is here! So for work I dug out this twinset I got a couple years ago. I also debuted these pants I got at the beginning of summer but hadn't worn yet.
When I got home, I changed into a casual outfit for a trip to the supermarket. I almost never wear white, and my husband was freaking out over how "hot" I looked in a plain white t-shirt and jeans!
This wasn't at all what I was planning to wear, and then I don't know what happened, somehow I was wearing this. I had an extremely busy day at work, rushing to get things done before I left for a brief vacation, so at least I was comfortable.
Didn't have time to take a picture before I left - you can tell this is the afternoon because my hair has flipped up so much (darn humidity!) and I'm all sweaty (darn humidity!). I'd almost forgotten I had this sleeveless top, but I'm happy I kept it, I think it looked nice.
The VP of my department stopped by my desk today and commented that he liked the color of my sweater. I like it too!
It was a hot, humid day! I was a little chilly in my office, and almost questioned whether I should have worn pants to work, but as soon as I stepped outside into that humid air, I knew a skirt was the right choice.
Didn't I just wear this cardigan to work yesterday? Yeah, I did.
A quick change in the evening (everything but the top), and I was ready for a night out with my husband!
Not much to say, except that I have a love-hate relationship with this top. I just wish it weren't so long - if I pull it down straight, it comes down really low, and if I hike up some of the length, then it's all weird and bunchy.
I almost forgot about these little short-sleeved sweaters! I got two (this one and a gray one) last summer. I usually don't wear short-sleeved sweaters because I like being able to put something long-sleeved on top (my office is cold!), but it was so hot out that I just went for it! And I was fine all day at work.
Just going out to do some errands on a Saturday morning. I pulled that blue bag out again to use recently - it makes me so happy! And it's a great size! I can put an umbrella in there and not even notice it, or fill it with my reusable totes for the store without having to squeeze everything else in, but it doesn't feel huge.
