We're having an audit at work this week, and I could potentially be called in for an interview, but not sure when, so I just need to look presentable.
Cardigan - Merona
Slacks - New York & Company

We're having an audit at work this week, and I could potentially be called in for an interview, but not sure when, so I just need to look presentable.
Yeah, this sweater again. We had a visit from our leadership team today at work, and I ended up sitting directly opposite my boss' boss' boss. Also, we were in the conference room next door to the one I was in last week, and it was freezing cold! Everyone complained!
This top has tiny sparkly studs all over it, and is yet another piece I picked up on my holiday weekend sale shopping. I was going to wear it with a different sweater, but my husband kept making comments about how it wasn't like my usual style, and was a lot of sparkle for work. So I went with this jersey cardi, which I think keeps it covered a little bit more, and I loved the way it looked!
It was not much of a Valentine's Day... I was stuck in an all-day workshop at work. For the past two years, every time I'd been in the conference room we had reserved, it was freezing cold. So I prepared by wearing a nice warm sweater. Surprise! The room was toasty warm all day today!
It did not occur to me until much later in the day that all three pieces of clothing I was wearing are from NY&Co! Not sure how I feel about these tops with these sweaters, though... It may not be happening again.
Was it too soon to wear this sweater again? I just think it's so cute!
It was a freezing day, and I knew I was going out for lunch, so needed the scarf for a little extra warmth...
Here's the black version of that purple sweater I wore the other day. Very rare for me: the trim is sort of an animal print!
We had a big all-company event today. People who aren't usually in the office were all there, and everyone was dressed neatly.
Got two of these sweaters (of course). I like that there's a little something different with the detail around the edge. But I didn't realize in the dressing room how weirdly short they were...
Another new sweater from my holiday weekend shopping trip. So much stuff at NY&Co was $10 a piece! And I like that this has a little extra detail at the top.
At our site holiday party they made an announcement that we could start wearing jeans to work on Fridays. This didn't really affect me, since I don't usually go to the office on Fridays, but we were there this week, so jeans it was! (Actually, since we were just sitting together in a room all day anyway, we probably would have worn jeans anyway...)
Today was the last time we had to appear in public, and taking a cue from yesterday, I did not wear a jacket.
We had another big session to facilitate for most of the day today, which I thought meant "wear suits" again, but apparently I was the only one who thought that. Grr, I hate jackets. Also, this jacket has shoulder pads, which I keep wanting to cut out, but I'm afraid because the shoulders are a little puffy and what if thy end up looking deflated?
Today was the first day of our super busy week of work events, and the entire morning was spent facilitating a forum for senior leaders, which means suits were required, which means I don't wear suits so I pulled out a peplum jacket and called it a day.
I was looking at blog posts from last year before I got dressed this morning, and went, "Oh yeah, I have those corduroy pants I can wear to work!" Was a perfect outfit for going out to lunch with friends on a chilly day.
This ring was the other thing I got myself at that Premier party in December!
I wore this jersey cardigan today because... I realized I hadn't worn it in a while. I will probably not pair it with the 3/4 sleeve double-layer Merona top again, though, it was just too warm.
It was another cold day, so I went with a scarf. This one doesn't have the volume of most of my other scarves, which is good and bad - you can do a lot of twisty/knotty things with it, but it never really looks "full."
For my first day of work in 2013, and my first day in the office in a week and a half, I dressed for the weather in a snuggly sweater. This is one of those sweaters I often consider putting on the "donate" pile, but then I wear it again and remember how soft and nice it is. And it fits ok.
Festive Holiday Week Day 1! Today was the day I handed out cards, candy canes, and bags of holiday treats to my coworkers!
It was warm today, but rainy. These were not the shoes I would have originally worn, but the other ones are not good in the wet weather.
I was so happy with this outfit! I bought this sweater online on Cyber Monday, and it's a little more fitted than I expected, but I think it's ok, and I love the ballet neckline!
I would think of this as more of a spring or fall outfit - a sleeveless top under a light jersey cardigan. Thanks, global warming!
Remember my plan to wear more scarves? Maybe it was a little premature. It was like 60 degrees today and I was warm.
It snowed today. When I left for work, it was just raining, so I didn't wear the boots I'd been considering. When I left at lunchtime, I had to clear at least 3-4" of snow off my car! I wouldn't have even gone to the office except we had a visitor, so my whole department was there and we were all mad we'd driven in!
First day back after a nice long Thanksgiving weekend... I'm coming to the realization that even though I have a shelf full of sweaters in my closet, I really only like a couple of them. May need to edit and replace...
Last day in the office for a while, woohoo!
I am obsessed with gray. I need way more gray shirts. Not sure if this one should remain in my wardrobe, though - sometimes it looks ok, and sometimes it looks like it's just not fitting at all. Probably depends on what bra I'm wearing, haha!
Sorry for the bad picture. I only took two, so the choices for today were blurry or head cut off :o)
Meeting day 2 - yeah this looks more like a summer outfit. I've worn this shirt in two other colors, but was saving my favorite for an event like this.
